A 42-year old man alleges in a lawsuit against TASER International that he was permanently disabled after he suffered a cardiac arrest and subsequent severe brain lesions, when shot by a TASER stun gun. The lawsuit filed against TASER International by the victim Steven Butler is set to go to trial in August 2010.

San Francisco Teenager Suffers Traumatic Brain Injury Due to Aluminum Baseball Bat

A 16-year-old high school baseball player was critically injured when he suffered a traumatic brain injury on March 11, 2010. The teenage player, from Marian Catholic High School in San Francisco, CA, was hit in the head while playing a practice match against Concord, CA’s De La Salle High School.
